I would like to start this post with a moment to memorise all the victims who have fallen to the hands of terrorism. It has been almost a week ago since the attacks on Paris happened, and I've spent the few days after mourning not only for a city that I love so much, but also for Beirut and all the friends, families and loved ones who are affected by these horrific tragedies. You are not forgotten..
..And we shall not give in.

How have you guys been? You probably wonder what I've been doing lately since I went a little M.I.A again for a little while; but I'm good! No worries here. I needed some time off and take a step back to see the bigger picture. Although I had a huge break from blogging earlier this year, I still had the feeling that I needed to sort out some things. So I took my time. I've been quite active offline the past few weeks, attending events, networking and exploring some new career options. Do I want to pursue a career in the fashion blogging industry? How realistic is that option? My heart lies here, obviously, but does my future?
All these questions repeated in my head over the past few weeks. I guess since we all grow older, we seek security when it comes to our future plans. Right?
I had some coffee with a friend earlier this week and we were talking about all the horrific events that occurred lately.. She said that in this crazy world we live in, every day could be our last and we all should live by the words 'carpe diem' and do whatever we love, day by day. I started to reminisce all the awesome things that happened since I created my blog and how much work and effort I've put in it to get me where I am right now..
And here I am, writing this article with a big smile on my face. Let's take that leap of faith and trust in our dreams!
Beautiful photo, we definitely need a moment for Paris as well as the rest of the world.

Yes, that's sad what happened in Paris and probably it's not the end... Every day I heard something about fights. The reason is religion. I don't understand that. People are free and they pick what they want, do what they want and believe in what they want. But when someone is killing another person we can't talk about religion. Terrorism has no religion. This is just sick.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your freind.
Btw, beautiful photo.
Glad to read a new post from you. Yea, we should all do that 'Seize the day!'.
