This was our first all-in fashion week ever and quite an incredible experience! We definitely had a great time and met a lot of inspiring people :) Like I mentioned before, we took so many photos (to be specific, around 5000 snaps) at the AIFW that it is impossible to post them all. So I selected a few of my favorite photos and a few highlights to show you, enjoy!

SHOES, BLAZER AND VELVET SHORT ZARA TOP MANGO NECKLACE H&M WATCH MICHAEL KORS
Can't believe how fast time flies! We made these photos at the last day of the Amsterdam Fashion Week at the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel where we stayed during our journey. A beautiful four star hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam and just a minute walk from the central station! How perfect is that since we were carrying each 2 suitcases with us. With a bunch of cabs parked before the hotel and all shops and restaurants right around the corner we've never travelled far to reach our destination. We stayed at the most comfortable suite I've ever experienced so far in the so called 'Urban Wing'. The rooms are modern decorated with a sleek design and the floor was all covered with red carpet which made me feel like a celebrity for a while, haha! Furthermore the hotel offers all kinds of services like a indoor pool, a sauna, a gym and a huge delicious breakfast buffet see here! The staff was also very kind and always open to do a little chitchat :)

Over all, we had the most enjoyable stay as you can read and we're definitely coming back again! Thank you Victoria!

There's nothing better than a grand breakfast buffet in the morning. Charging up for a new day at fashion week, itE's important to eat well during these busy (and cold) days. Our journey here at the AFW has almost come to and end unfortunately! Tomorrow is the last day already and then the boys and me are heading north again :( We had such a great time and met lots of amazing people, hopefully the future will bring us to many other places! We're really busy at the moment sorting all pictures and stuff so keep an eye on my blog for more updates!

CLAES IVERSEN BACKSTAGE F/W 2014
Magnificent, there's no need to say more about it. Though it was a small collection every single piece was perfectly beautiful in its own way. Nudes, black and white were the main colors of the collection with sometimes a pop of red or turquoise. My favorites were absolutely the red skirt and the black evening dress (see picture below!) Claes always succeeds to impress all of us every season again. I'm looking forward to see his next show already!

SKIRT MARIANNE VANDERWILT TOP & SHOES ZARA WATCH DANIEL WELLINGTON HAT V&D
I've never did leather on leather before but my new skirt from Marianna Van der Wilt just goes with every garment. To spice up the minimal look a little bit I added my emerald green amulet necklace to this outfit and viola! The skirt is made from such a fine leather that it gives you a very soft look. What do you think?

We went to Spijkers&Spijkers and Claes Iversen yesterday and both their shows were incredible! I'm such a big fan of Claes and it was so cool to watch his show front row instead of on the internet, absolutely the highlight of the week so far :) I actually have so many things to tell you guys that I don't know where to start lol! I think we're going to make a photo diary or so, because a picture tells more than a thousand words so they say!

AFW INDIVIDUALS RUNWAY FINALE F/W 2013
Uptown program has started and I was so excited because this is our first fashion week experience ever! Here is a small recap of what happend yesterday. The opening show was by 'iNDiViDUALS' made possible by a group of creative young masterminds from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. It felt like I was straight in a science fiction movie with everybody wearing these gladiator look-a-likes headpieces, how incredibly awesome! Two of my favorite genres in one, couldn't ask for more ;) We've made so many pictures that I have no idea where to start, so here is a selection of a few top pieces in my opinion! Thanks again to Fashiolista and AFW for giving us this opportunity, my team and I couldn't be more grateful!

Sorry for my inactivity last week but I now have amazing news to share with you! For those who are following me on instagram may already know but I now proudly announce that my team and I are one of the official reporters of the Amsterdam Fashion Week, thanks to Fashiolista! We will be there from January 18 till 27 and my blog will get a live feed on the website of AFW. How amazing is that?!

There is a hectic schedule waiting for me with tons of events and fashion shows and the best thing is they also have organized public events, so for everyone who is near Amsterdam you should come and join me!
