    SCRAPBOOK | GO BIG

    NOVEMBER 29, 2014

We are less than a month away from Christmas which means it's time for a major gifts shopping session! I love spending time to wrap up presents and give them to my beloved ones, but I don't mind getting a few either (giggle).. You can find a shopping post next week with a few gifts ideas for him & her, but today is all about spoiling yourself for the festive season!

Have you always wanted that amazing designer piece that was a little bit too much out of your budget? Well then you might make a jump of happiness right now, because there is this BIG sale going on at Shopbop that will give you some major discounts. The formule is very simple: spend $ 250 = 15% off, $ 500 = 20% off and $ 1000 = 25% off. Use the code GOBIG14 at the checkout and that's it! No brand exclusions. Say what?

I'd say go get that Phillip Lim bag you've been eying for so long.

    SCRAPBOOK | SWEATER WEATHER

    SEPTEMBER 22, 2014

Like I said in my previous post, I cleaned out my wardrobe last week so there's plenty of space left now to fill it up with some new season essentials! It's officially Fall now, which means pretty landscapes, rainy days (a lot) and last but not at least: sweather weather! Tell me, who likes to wrap themselves up in a cozy oversized knit?! Exactly: E V E R Y O N E, so here are 3 knits that I would like to splurge on.. Plus a few random things I added to my wishlist :)

           3. Knitted Turtleneck via Mango - Cold-breeze protection for your precious neck
           4. 3.1 Phillip Lim loafers from Shopbop - Grandma shoe comback
           5. Gift Boutique Mug via Shopbop - A golden kiss! Talking about fashionable drinking.
           6. Breton Stripe Knit via Net A Portér - Classic. A girl can't have enough
           7. Statement Earring via Zara - We all know the famous one from Louis Vuitton. How about a more affordable version?

    UNIVERSITÉ

Saint Laurent Université shoulder bag (same here)

Some of you have probably seen the teaser on Instagram a few days ago.. What's in the box? The Saint Laurent Université bag! *making a jump* I wrote about it a few post earlier that it's on my fall wish list and I so happy that's it's finally mine know! I was having quite a hard time making my choice when I asked you guys which bag I should get in this post; the Lulu bag was my favourite of all, but I really liked the iconic 'YSL' logo on the Cassandre. When I bumped into this one a few days later, my choice was made! It's kind of a mix between the two, and I love it.

Thanks to Reebonz for making me a happy owner of this precious Saint Laurent. I'm currently working on a special project featuring this bag so stay tuned!

    SCRAPBOOK | S.O.S PLEASE

S.O.S please, someone help me? It's not healthy, for me to feel this way!

OK ok.., maybe I've listened too much to Rihanna's song when I was younger. But really, help me? This is going on for months now and I think it's about time to cut the rope. I want a new bag and I'm going to buy one (very soon)! It's cleary going to be a Saint Laurent, because let's be honest, everything that Hedi Slimane touches turns into gold, like for real.

The second thing is, it's going to be a black one (what else) not only because it suits everything but I think that black and gold is just a wonderful color match. But now, I have no clue on what bag I should get. Lulu, Betty, Cassandre? Large or small? I wish I could take you all home with me but my wallet says there's just place for one unfortunately. I'm having a really hard time picking one, so I need your help guys! Which one should I buy? :)

    BEAUTY | THE BIG FIVE

I get a lot of questions about what make-up and skin care products I use so I thought why not make a list of my five favorite products that I use on daily basis. I wanted to shoot a video first (as some of you requested) which I thought it was a piece of cake, but I found out that I was a pretty noob at it so for now, we'll have to do it this way!

    1. CHANEL ROUGE COCO

I get the most questions about that lipstick I use, which is the Chanel Rouge Coco 41 Destinee and the Chanel Rouge Allure 102 Palpitante. I love the lipsticks from Chanel as it doesn't fade away easily and the Rouge Allure even stays beautiful for almost 6 hours! The two colors are quite bold, so if you want to create a lighter shade just put a little lipstick on the middle of your lips and wipe it out with a damped cotton swab. Viola!
    2. URBAN DECAY NAKED 2

Urban Decay Naked 2, no doubt the best eye-shadow palette I've ever bought. I'm using mine for almost 2 years now and it looks like I can still use it for another two or even three years! It has all the nude colors you need, and a good matte-black shade for creating the perfect smokey-eyes.
    3. L'OREAL TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION

I have a very sensitive skin, so I try to use less foundation. A thin layer on my cheeks and forehead is enough for me. I've tried a lot of different foundations but the only one that looks most natural on my skin is True Match W3/C3 from L'Oreal Paris.
    4. BIOTHERM AQUASOURCE

I don't use a lot of skin care products, only Nivea creme for both day and night (I also use it for my body). But sometimes, when my skin gets very sensitive and dull because I didn't get much sleep or in times os stress, I like to switch over to Biotherm Aquasource. The cream has a silky and light texture and hydrates your skin for 24 hours! Available for normal, dry or combination skin types.
    5. CHANEL JOUES CONTRASTE

Another frequently asked question is about the blush I use, and it's also from Chanel (nr.99 Rose Petale)! There's just one thing that I don't like about it and that's the brush that you'll get with it. Way too small and not very handy to adjust on your cheeks. Besides that, it's been my favorite for years and I totally love it!

    SCRAPBOOK | NIGHT KNIGHTS

Comfort with a sexy edge, isn't that a perfect combination? - There is a reason why people call this day 'lazy' Sunday as it is basically all about relaxing and charging up for a whole new week, or recovering from that crazy party you had the day before. Well, maybe not lazy for all of us (including me), as for some of us there is plenty of work to do unfortunately! I once used to rock my pj's an entire sunday lying in bed or at my balcony catching up on my favorite series, oh how I miss that!

So, todays scrapbook post is all inspired by our pj's! That oversized t-shirt, the boyfriend blouse or the sexy lace dress, wear it with a pair of flats and a LBS (little black skirt) and there you go! Easy like sunday morning.

    FIVE

Thank god it's friday! But not for me unfortunately, I have to work all weekend (no blog-work but work-work) and it's going to get pretty busy.. No lazy sunday for me this time. Anyway, today we're taking a look at the five key pieces from my closet at the moment. You've probably seen these few items a million times on my blog by now but does it ever get boring? They can be styled in hundred different ways, and that's exactly why I think every girl on earth should have at least one of each in her closet. Period. Let's take a look! :)

    1. POINTY BLACK HEELS

I literally have a dozen of them in my wardrobe. Can a girl ever get tired of a pair of black pointed heels? Never.
    2. TIK TAK, THE GOLDEN WATCH

Everybody probably knows my MK by now, it is one of the two watches that I wear most next to my Larsson&Jennings. I've been wearing in on daily basis for the past three years and still it looks shiny and new! It was my first 'designer' watch that I've purchased and it was definitely worth the investment! :)

    3. STRIPED PULLOVER

Breton, pinstripe, vertical, horizontal.. doesn't matter, just make sure you have a few in your closet. It simply never gets old and there are just numerous ways to wear it!

    4. LITTLE BLACK BAG

Little bags are a total hype these days! Though you can't carry that much in it, it's cute and the perfect accessory for every look.
    5. LEATHER PANTS

Some say leather is the new denim, can we agree? Because real leather pants can have a ridiculous price tag, fake leather and coated jeans will do to :) Get one with quilted patterns or zippers for some extra detail!

    SCRAPBOOK | MOSSIE

I came across this grid paper pattern a few days ago on the web and it reminded me a lot of a scrapbook I used to have back in the days as a little girl. I collected all kinds of cute stuff and whatever had the color pink! Nowadays I'd rather collect things in black and clothes instead of puppy images (I love puppies though). - Anyway! It brought me to the idea to show you guys a monthly scrapbook of fashionable cravings, enjoy! :-)

    1. Mango leather jacket - Because we can never have one too much
    2. MCQ by Alexander Mcqueen printed knitwear
    3. Rachel Zoe crossover ring - Those tiny details
    4. The Kate Moss Book - Happy birthday Kate!
    5. J Brand skinny jeans - That ripped knee
    6. Topshop flare skirt
    7. Prada saffiano promenade mini bag - the smaller the cuter
    8. Nicholas heeled sandals - Is it summer yet?
