I hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far! :) The weather has been really bad over here since a few days which got me stuck at home all the time.. Please bring back our sun! We went to a few meetings in Amsterdam last week and I wore the most simplest outfit you can actually think of; boyfriend jeans, oversized shirt and my favorite pair of extremely comfort sneakers. I never feel like wearing heels whenever I go to Amsterdam; it's always flats, boots and nowadays Stan Smiths. Unless you're mastering some excellent skills with walking in heels, I think it's almost impossible to feel comfy with 10 inches on your feet since the streets are all covered with cobble stones and bricks. Getting stuck between it is guaranteed, 100%.
I still get a lot of questions about the Adidas Stan Smith shoes, where you can buy them and especially in a smaller size.. So I've been searching around the web for you guys but unfortunately the small ones are sold out almost everywhere (only 40+). I found the blue and red, both still available in size 36-38. They're true to size and absolutely worth the money, happy weekend!
No need to borrow boyfriend's shirt anymore, I've finally found the perfect one for myself! We shot this outfit yesterday and I felt like going for a clean and easy look. Simple jeans, simple shirt, do wanna show of my new heels though! Keeping it short today because I have a lot of things to do! Have a great day :)
I get a lot of questions about what make-up and skin care products I use so I thought why not make a list of my five favorite products that I use on daily basis. I wanted to shoot a video first (as some of you requested) which I thought it was a piece of cake, but I found out that I was a pretty noob at it so for now, we'll have to do it this way!
1. CHANEL ROUGE COCO
I get the most questions about that lipstick I use, which is the Chanel Rouge Coco 41 Destinee and the Chanel Rouge Allure 102 Palpitante. I love the lipsticks from Chanel as it doesn't fade away easily and the Rouge Allure even stays beautiful for almost 6 hours! The two colors are quite bold, so if you want to create a lighter shade just put a little lipstick on the middle of your lips and wipe it out with a damped cotton swab. Viola!
2. URBAN DECAY NAKED 2
Urban Decay Naked 2, no doubt the best eye-shadow palette I've ever bought. I'm using mine for almost 2 years now and it looks like I can still use it for another two or even three years! It has all the nude colors you need, and a good matte-black shade for creating the perfect smokey-eyes.
3. L'OREAL TRUE MATCH FOUNDATION
I have a very sensitive skin, so I try to use less foundation. A thin layer on my cheeks and forehead is enough for me. I've tried a lot of different foundations but the only one that looks most natural on my skin is True Match W3/C3 from L'Oreal Paris.
4. BIOTHERM AQUASOURCE
I don't use a lot of skin care products, only Nivea creme for both day and night (I also use it for my body). But sometimes, when my skin gets very sensitive and dull because I didn't get much sleep or in times os stress, I like to switch over to Biotherm Aquasource. The cream has a silky and light texture and hydrates your skin for 24 hours! Available for normal, dry or combination skin types.
5. CHANEL JOUES CONTRASTE
Another frequently asked question is about the blush I use, and it's also from Chanel (nr.99 Rose Petale)! There's just one thing that I don't like about it and that's the brush that you'll get with it. Way too small and not very handy to adjust on your cheeks. Besides that, it's been my favorite for years and I totally love it!
