HOME SWEET HOME
Some of you might remember this hotel I posted a picture of on instagram a couple of weeks ago. I stayed in this amazing four star boutique hotel, located in the middle of Amsterdam centre (a two minute walk from Dam square to be exactly!) during the Amsterdam Fashion Week. Unfortunately, I had to spend the first night sick in bed (yes, again) and went home the day after.. such a pity. I even tried to attend a show but we guess what? We missed it because we were stuck in the traffic, talking about bad luck Charlie...
Anyway, back to the hotel I wantend to talk about! It's definitely one of Amsterdams finest spots I discovered recently. I was staring my eyes out when we entered the lobby because there was this giant and I mean GIANT sparkly chandelier hanging on the ceiling. Besides that wow-moment, everything in the hotel was decorated so nicely with warm colors that it almost felt like home. You know what I mean right? At least I could've enjoyed my room despite not feeling well, took a warm bath and went to bed as early as I could. The next morning another surprise was awaiting us at their restaurant the Lobby as they serve one of the best breakfast I've eaten lately. Not a buffet as you normally find in other hotels, but a รก la carte service with a lot of different choices! We had a very pleasant (short) stay and will definitely come back again some time, and if not to sleep, than definitely for the blueberry American pancakes with maple syrup :-)

MANGO | DIY CHRONICLES
Remember when MANGO invited me to join some DIY craziness back in October? Jeez, it already seems so long ago! I know this photodiary has been delayed a little bit (ahum...), so I thought why not do it properly on a Throw Back Thursday? - I met up in sunny Barcelona with three other bloggers (Yara,Christina & Carrie) the four lovely contest winners and of course the DIY queen herself Shini Park. It was my first time traveling to Spain so that made it even extra exciting for me at the time! Three days filled with awesome workshops, excellent food and amazing people, I had so much fun! :) Thanks again for taking so good care of us Mango team!

WESTCORD MEETS FASHION
Last week I was in Amsterdam with Jason and Tyler for the AFW and where else should we stay then at the the Westcord Fashion Hotel! A gorgeous four star hotel located just 10 minutes away from the city centre with a phenomenal Sky Bar on the eleventh floor. We slept in a spacious triple fashion room with a cute view over a little garden and terrace at the backside of the building. We were so busy during the day that is was great to head back to the hotel in the evening to escape from all the hectic around Fashion Week, taking a dive at the pool or have some delicious cocktails.
So whether you are looking for a fashionable stay or want to go out for drinks with a excellent scenery; this is definitely the place to keep in mind!
DAS STUE
Das what? Nah, just another hotel somewhere in Berlin.. Are you kidding me? Not sure if I had to label this post with 'the Artroom' catergory because seriously, this is by FAR the most beautiful and artistic hotel I have ever slept in.
DAS STUE is situated in gorgeous old building with high walls and you know - I have a thing for old architecture. The hallway only was literally jaw-dropping not to mention the rest of the hotel. I stayed here during my little trip to Berlin last month. The moment I got home I just wanted to decorate my house exactly the same as the hotel interior, I love these places that looks so cozy and playful but also very modern and chic at the same time. To everyone who is planning to visit Berlin: you should keep this one in mind! Wish I had more time to enjoy it but I truly had an amazing stay and definitely going back someday! You think I'm exaggerating? I spent some time walking around with my camera so go take a look yourself...
